Stylish
Stylish is a fashion discovery tool that analyzes the visual style of a user’s Pinterest board and uses those patterns to generate personalized shopping recommendations. Users provide a Pinterest board, Stylish determines whether the content is fashion-related, analyzes the board’s overall aesthetic and style signals, and then uses that understanding to recommend clothing and products aligned with the user’s existing taste.
Why I Created It
I created Stylish because I wanted a way to turn the visual style I had already curated on Pinterest into useful shopping recommendations. Instead of searching for individual items or relying on generic fashion categories, the idea was to create a system that could understand the broader aesthetic represented by a person's board and use that style profile to help them discover products that better match their existing taste.
How I Built It
Stylish is currently in active development. The current prototype includes Pinterest board URL handling and a custom URL-shortening workflow, along with early development of a CLIP-based style-analysis system using Hugging Face models.
